Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, with an 80.8 score against 77.8. Both phones in this comparison review include the same Android 4.4.2 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport were released with only a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bit lighter and just a little thinner.

Galaxy S5 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy S5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a faster 500 MHz GPU. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution and a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a higher screen pixels density.

Galaxy S5 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back-facing camera, a 0.38 inches sensor, a same size aperture and the same (4K) video resolution. Galaxy S5 counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy S5 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy S5 features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Galaxy S5 Sport.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up some specs and features.
