Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is better than the Galaxy S5 Sport's general score of 77.8. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2 version, so it counts with a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy S5 Sport.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a faster graphics processing unit, a greater amount of RAM, a greater number of cores and a 64 bits processing unit. Galaxy S5 Sport features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller camera aperture, they both have the same video frame rates, a 0.38 inches back-facing camera sensor, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same resolution back facing camera.
The Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 2800mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Sport. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
