Comparison review

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 score. Galaxy XCover FieldPro's construction is a lot newer, but incredibly thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little better processing power than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM and 4 more cpu cores. Galaxy S5 Sport counts with just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and much less pixels per screen inch, they both have a display of the same size.

Galaxy S5 Sport features a very superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality and a much smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher 16 MP resolution and a way better (4K) video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 2800mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
