Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the Galaxy S5 Sport, getting a score of 79.8 against 77.8. Even though Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is somewhat heavier than Galaxy S5 Sport, it's thinner and newer. These devices work with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a more recent 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a processing unit that is just as good as the processing unit in Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although the Xperia Z5 Premium has a greater number of cores (although slower) and 1 GB more RAM memory, they both have a 450 MHz GPU. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a lot higher display density, a little larger display and a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

The Xperia Z5 Premium takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger aperture, a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photographs and a lot more MP camera.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has more internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 200 GB. Xperia Z5 Premium features greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Sport. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy S5 Sport, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
