Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a general score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 general score. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is somewhat heavier than Galaxy S5 Sport, it's thinner and also incredibly newer. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S5 Sport has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a bit better amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has improved battery duration than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger back camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up some specs and features.
