Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a global score of 77.8 against 76.6. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a a lot lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but they have the same thickness. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display pixels density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy S5 Sport has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has an inferior number of cores and less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 79% more battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a lot bigger sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality, a way higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low-light environments.
Galaxy S5 Sport costs a bit more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
