Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus has a global score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S6 Active's general score of 80.9. Apple iPhone 8 Plus features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a lower number of cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processor, they both have a 64-bit CPU and a 3 GB RAM.
Galaxy S6 Active features a better screen than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and more pixels per inch in the display. The iPhone 8 Plus takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, a much less mega-pixels back camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better low light images and videos.
IPhone 8 Plus has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. The Galaxy S6 Active counts with superior battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, resigning a couple features and specifications.
