The Google Nexus 6 is a little bit better than Galaxy S6 Active, getting a overall score of 81.1 against 80.9. Galaxy S6 Active has a bit better processing power than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a 64-bits processing unit, 4 more processing cores and a much better 650 MHz GPU.
The Google Nexus 6 has a better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a back facing camera with a lower resolution, a worse video resolution and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and video. The Google Nexus 6 has a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 6, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, giving up a couple specifications.
