Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's global score of 80.9. The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a much better screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit worse 2560 x 1440 resolution, it also counts with a bit better screen density. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a much bigger back camera sensor taking way higher quality photographs, a bigger aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited environments and a way better resolution camera in the back.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S6 Active, resigning a couple features and specs.
