Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a bit better than the LG G3, with an 80.9 score against 76.4. Both phones in our current comparison include the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system). The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a bit more powerful CPU than LG G3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has a faster graphics processing unit running at 650 MHz, more cores and a 64-bits CPU.
The LG G3 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a quite lower amount of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution, the LG G3 also counts with a little larger screen. The LG G3 counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
LG G3 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality, a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality videos and photographs, a way tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light images and a back-facing camera with a lower resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G3, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S6 Active, else you can save some money and get the LG G3, letting go a couple specifications.
