Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a general score of 80.9, which is a little bit better than the LG G5's 76.1 score. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a much lighter but somewhat thicker phone than LG G5. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has the older 5.0 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Galaxy S6 Active features a faster CPU than LG G5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU, a greater number of cores and a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S6 Active has a better looking display than LG G5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a little better pixel density.
The LG G5 has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active. Both have equal internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has greater battery life than LG G5, because it has a 25% more battery capacity. The LG G5 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition, a 0.38 inches camera sensor and the same resolution camera, the LG G5 also has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light captures.
