Comparison review
The LG G8S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active, having an 82.5 score against 80.9. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but LG G8S ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 version, providing lots of additional features and some performance improvements.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits processor and a graphics processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Active has a much better display than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a higher display pixels density.
The LG G8S ThinQ shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a back facing camera with way less MP resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low-light captures and video. LG G8S ThinQ counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 3550mAh of battery capacity.
