Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Active has a general score of 80.9, which is a little bit better than LG Q8's 77.2 overall score. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Active has 5.0 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Galaxy S6 Active is a thicker but way lighter cellphone than the LG Q8.
The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a superior processing unit than LG Q8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU, a 64 bits CPU and a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a bit better display than LG Q8, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
The LG Q8 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have a same size camera sensor, the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same (4K) video quality, the LG Q8 also has a larger camera aperture to take better images and video in low light environments.
The LG Q8 features a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6 Active. Both of them have equal internal storage. The Galaxy S6 Active has just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 17% bigger battery capacity.
