The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, getting a general score of 87.1 against 80.9. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has the newer 14 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 version.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a much greater processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little sharper screen than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also has a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a back-facing camera with much more MP and a larger aperture for better photography and video in low light situations.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a very superior storage for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has greater battery performance than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
