Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active, having a general score of 87.5 against 80.9. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has newer 11 version while Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0, so it offers lots of additional features.
Galaxy S6 Active features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy S6 Active features a much better looking display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy A71 has much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way more megapixels back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 features better battery performance than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 29% greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy A71 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy A71, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S6 Active, giving up a couple specifications.
