Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note 3's score of 80.7. Both devices in this review include the same Android 5.0 operating system, so they should provide all the same OS features. Galaxy S6 Active is a just a little thicker but incredibly lighter phone than the Galaxy Note 3.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a better GPU working at 650 megahertz and a 64 bits CPU. The Galaxy S6 Active has a much better looking display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better display pixels density.
Galaxy Note 3 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 3 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a lower video definition, a lesser megapixels back-facing camera, a tinier aperture which is not good for taking images and video in low light environments and a tinier sensor providing a worse image quality.
