Comparison review
Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's 80.9 score. Both of these phones come with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has a 64 bits processor, a much better graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores (but slower).
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a sharper display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater display density. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh. Galaxy Note 3 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a lower video definition, a smaller camera aperture which is not good for taking photographs and/or video in low light environments, a tinier sensor which gives a lower image and video quality and a lower 13 mega pixels resolution back camera.
Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a little more than Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S6 Active, resigning a couple specs and features.
