Galaxy Note Edge is a little bit better than Galaxy S6 Active, having an 81.7 score against 80.9. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has more CPU cores (but slower), a 64-bit processor and a faster graphics processor.
The Galaxy S6 Active features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a bit greater pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active. Both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3000mAh. Galaxy Note Edge features a better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier camera aperture, they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a same size sensor and the same video frame rate.
Galaxy Note Edge costs a little more than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
