Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy S5's 80.8 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a more recent 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2, so it gives you some nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active body is lighter but a bit thicker than the Galaxy S5.
Galaxy S6 Active features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S5, and although they both have a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a same size screen, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Galaxy S5 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 Active. Both have equal 32 GB internal storage.
Galaxy S6 Active features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a faster GPU, a larger number of cores and a 64 bits processor. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S5 features a better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a 0.38 inches sensor, the same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rate.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy S6 Active is also a bargain compared to others.
