Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, with a score of 80.9 against 78.1. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a just a little thicker but extremely lighter phone than the Galaxy S5 Plus. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has the newer 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, so it gives lots of additional features.
The Galaxy S6 Active has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy S6 Active also has more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a little better performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4 more cores , a 64-bits processing unit, a better 650 megahertz graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a greater memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has less internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with improved battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and videos, they both have the same video resolution, a same size sensor, the same video frame rate and a 16 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S6 Active is also the cheapest one.
