Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a general score of 87.4, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active's 80.9 overall score. Both of these phones use the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a processor that's just as good as the Galaxy S6 Active one, both of them have the same RAM memory amount, 8 cores, a 64 bits processor and a 650 MHz graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Active both feature incredibly similar displays, both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the same pixel density and a display of the same size. The Galaxy S6 features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Galaxy S6 takes better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active.
