Comparison review
Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's overall score of 80.9. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has 5 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor.
Galaxy S6 Active features a much better looking display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels amount per inch in the screen and a bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. Sony Xperia 5 II has a very superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 14% greater battery capacity. Sony Xperia 5 II shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a lower (4K) video resolution and a lot less megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor capturing much higher quality pictures and videos and a larger camera aperture for better low light photography and videos.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
