Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active, with a general score of 82.2 against 80.9. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits processor.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a greater pixel quantity in each inch in the screen, a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a quite bigger display. The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a back camera with more mega pixels, a bigger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a larger back camera sensor taking better quality pictures and videos.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S6 Active. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Active, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
