Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, having a global score of 81.2 against 80.9. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an extra GPU.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with a lot better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy S6 Active has just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 3 percent larger battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos and/or video in poorly lited situations, a back camera with a lot lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, a tinier camera sensor and a worse (4K) video definition.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S6 Active, giving up some features and specs.
