Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.4, which is slightly better than the Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 global score. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S6 is extremely older than the Google Pixel 2 XL, it's construction is somewhat thinner and way lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much better display than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processor and a GPU. The Galaxy S6 counts with a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Google Pixel 2 XL counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as the Samsung Galaxy S6 one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has 3520mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, letting go some features and specifications.
