Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting an 87.4 score against 78.7. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 has an older 5.0 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Samsung Galaxy S6 is an older phone than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it's somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a just a little higher count of pixels in each display inch. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's storage to store more apps and games is just as good as the Galaxy S6 one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy S6 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S6 captures clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a bigger aperture for better low-light captures and video, a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a much better resolution back camera.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 57% bigger battery capacity.
