Motorola edge is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S6, with a score of 89.6 against 87.4. These devices work with Android OS, but Motorola edge has a newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 has Android 5.0 version, so it gives lots of additional features and performance tweaks. The Motorola edge body is noticeably newer, but noticeably thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy S6.

Galaxy S6 features a bit superior processing unit than Motorola edge, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a lot better looking display than Motorola edge, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a greater screen pixels density.

Motorola edge shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola edge also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 64 megapixels resolution, a larger aperture for better low light images and video and a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The Motorola edge features a way bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB more internal storage capacity. The Motorola edge counts with a superior battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S6. If you want to save some money, you can get Galaxy S6, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
