Galaxy S6 is much better than the Moto G8 Plus, getting an 87.4 score against 77.6. The Galaxy S6 construction is noticeably thinner and a lot lighter than the Moto G8 Plus, even though it was released 5 years before. The Galaxy S6 has a quite better hardware performance than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a GPU.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much better looking display than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better pixel count in each inch of display. Moto G8 Plus features a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB.
The Moto G8 Plus has a way better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a much higher resolution camera in the back, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a bigger aperture.
