Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than Moto Z2 Play, having a score of 87.4 against 77.4. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 is much older and thicker than Moto Z2 Play, it's design is still a bit lighter. Galaxy S6 features a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater count of pixels per display inch.
The Moto Z2 Play counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S6, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a little faster processing unit than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bits processing unit.
The Galaxy S6 counts with a slightly better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a camera with a way higher 16 MP resolution.
The Moto Z2 Play features a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 costs more than Moto Z2 Play, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
