Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A31, having a score of 87.4 against 81.3. The Galaxy S6 is an noticeably older device than Samsung Galaxy A31, but it's much thinner and way lighter anyway. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 has an older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10.
Galaxy S6 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a greater pixels amount per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a superior processing unit than Galaxy A31, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a much better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has a 96% larger battery capacity.
Galaxy A31 takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S6, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot larger sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality and a camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution.
