Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is slightly better than Galaxy A42, getting an 87.4 score against 87. Both phones we compare here have Android OS, but Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version while Galaxy A42 has Android 11 version. Galaxy S6 is an a lot older device than the Galaxy A42, but it's much lighter and extremely thinner anyway.
The Galaxy S6 has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit processor and a graphics processor. The Galaxy S6 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a much greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
Galaxy A42 counts with a better camera than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A42 also has a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a larger aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
Galaxy A42 features a much better battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
