Galaxy A71 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S6, with an 87.5 score against 87.4. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 has Android 5.0 version, giving you some extra features and optimized performance. The Galaxy A71 body is a lot newer than the Samsung Galaxy S6's, but it's notably heavier and just a bit thicker.

The Galaxy S6 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a little better processing power than Galaxy A71, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64-bits CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 captures way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a lot bigger sensor capturing way higher quality pictures and videos, a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back and a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures.

Samsung Galaxy A71 has a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A71 has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 2550mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S6. If you want to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S6, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
