Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, getting an 87.4 score against 76.3. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy S6's body is heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

The Galaxy S6 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, a 64 bits processor, more CPU cores and a much better graphics co-processor running at 650 megahertz. Galaxy S6 has a sharper display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a way better display pixel density and a bit larger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 features much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy S6 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light environments and a way better resolution back facing camera.
