Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is much better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, getting an 87.4 score against 78.1. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 has the newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version, providing a couple nice extra features. Galaxy S6 is a newer cellphone, and it is also just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy S5 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a better graphics processor, a 64-bit processor, 1 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy S6 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy S6 also has a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same sensor size, a camera with a 16 MP and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a bigger aperture for better images and video in low light environments.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 costs a little more than Galaxy S5 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
