Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.4, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's score of 81.9. Galaxy S6 is an a lot older phone than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, but it's incredibly thinner and lighter anyway. The Galaxy S6 features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit processor and a graphics co-processor.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater pixels number in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has just a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
Galaxy S6 features a bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller sensor shooting lower quality photos and a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing images or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a much more MP back camera.
The Galaxy S8 Active has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has a 57% more battery capacity.
The Galaxy S6 is a little more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
