Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a general score of 87.4, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S9's 83.3 global score. Although the Galaxy S6 is a lot older than Samsung Galaxy S9, it's design is somewhat lighter and thinner. The Galaxy S6 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a little bit worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater pixel density.
The Galaxy S6 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy S9 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a way bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations.
The Galaxy S9 features a better memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has an 18% more battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy S9, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
