Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.4, which is better than Xperia Z3's overall score of 77.3. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 has a newer 5.0 version and Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features. The Galaxy S6 body is somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than the Xperia Z3, even though both were only released 7 months apart.
The Galaxy S6 counts with a slightly better screen than Xperia Z3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a much bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit better CPU than Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower), a much better graphics processor working at 650 megahertz and a 64-bit processor. The Sony Xperia Z3 features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.
The Xperia Z3 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photos and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy S6 is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z3, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
