Samsung Galaxy S6 has a general score of 87.4, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9's 83.2 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is an way older cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 9, but it is a little thinner and a lot lighter anyway. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics processor.
Galaxy S6 features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with as much storage for applications and games as Galaxy S6, they have equal internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a back camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a larger aperture to capture better low-light images.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features longer battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2550mAh.
