Sony Xperia 1 III is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, getting a 93.3 score against 85.7. The Sony Xperia 1 III design is much newer, but heavier and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 III has the newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, so it gives you lots of additional features and optimized performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a slightly better screen than Sony Xperia 1 III, although it has a just a bit inferior amount of pixels per inch of display, a lot lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a way smaller display.
