Even though the iPhone 8 Plus is newer than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, it's a bit thicker and a lot heavier. IPhone 8 Plus has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has 2 lesser cores (although faster) and doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, they both have the same RAM memory amount and a 64 bits processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a much better looking display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better display pixel density and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has more internal memory.
