Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is just a bit better than iPhone 6 Plus, having a overall score of 85.7 against 80.4. Galaxy S6 Edge comes with Android 5.0 OS, while iPhone 6 Plus comes with iOS 8.x OS. Galaxy S6 Edge is a lighter cellphone than the iPhone 6 Plus, but both of them have the same thickness. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit more powerful processing unit than iPhone 6 Plus, and although they both have a 64-bits CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a greater number of cores, a better GPU working at 650 MHz and 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little more vivid screen than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy S6 Edge and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus both feature similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have equal 128 GB internal storage.
Apple iPhone 6 Plus features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking images and/or video in low-light environments, a camera with a lot worse 8 megapixels resolution, a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors and a much worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the iPhone 6 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPhone 6 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and get the iPhone 6 Plus, resigning a couple specifications.
