The Galaxy S6 Edge is better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), getting a global score of 85.7 against 77.4. Galaxy S6 Edge is an a lot older device than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), but Samsung could make it thinner and a lot lighter anyway. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bits processing unit. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater display pixel density.
