The Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is slightly better than the Google Pixel 4 XL's global score of 82.9. Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a lot older than Google Pixel 4 XL, it's body is notably lighter and somewhat thinner. Galaxy S6 Edge features a little better processing power than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra GPU.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a sharper screen than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse 2560 x 1440px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch. Google Pixel 4 XL captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a much lower 12.2 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a larger diafragm aperture for better photos in low light environments.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Google Pixel 4 XL has a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 4 XL. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 4 XL, resigning some specifications.
