Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is better than Huawei Mate 8's general score of 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge construction is much lighter and a little bit thinner than the Huawei Mate 8, even though both were only released 8 months apart. Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and a graphics co-processor.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a much more vibrant display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a much greater count of pixels per inch of screen. The Huawei Mate 8 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures, they both have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB. The Galaxy S6 Edge costs more than Huawei Mate 8, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
