Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with a score of 85.7 against 78.7. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is older than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's construction is lighter and a little bit thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a just a little greater amount of pixels in each screen inch. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features as much memory to install applications and games as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge one, they have equal internal memory.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64 bits processor. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 54% bigger battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a back-facing camera with a way worse 12 mega-pixels resolution and a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality images and videos.
Galaxy S6 Edge costs more money than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
