The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ, having an 85.7 score against 81. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's body is lighter and just a little thinner than LG G7 ThinQ, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before.

Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels density. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics processor and a 64-bit CPU.

LG G7 ThinQ has a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a little better battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15% bigger battery size.

LG G7 ThinQ captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate, a back facing camera with a 16 mega pixels and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in low light environments.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG G7 ThinQ, letting go some specifications.
