Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is slightly better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 overall score. These phones have Android OS, but Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version. The Galaxy S6 Edge is an way older cellphone than the LG G8X ThinQ, but it's thinner and much lighter anyway.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a way better looking screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater amount of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit faster CPU than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and a graphics processor.
The LG G8X ThinQ captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light photography and videos and a larger camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG G8X ThinQ has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8X ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get LG G8X ThinQ, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
