Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is much better than the LG Q8's overall score of 77.2. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is older than LG Q8, it's construction is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a quite superior hardware performance than LG Q8, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit, a higher number of cores (but slower) and a 64-bit processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a slightly better display than LG Q8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little better pixels quantity in each screen inch.
The LG Q8 features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q8 counts with a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
LG Q8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, the same video frame rates, the same video quality and a 16 megapixels resolution back camera, the LG Q8 also has a bigger diafragm aperture.
