Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo, with an 85.7 score against 78.8. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10. The Galaxy S6 Edge is a incredibly older and noticeably thicker phone than Microsoft Surface Duo, but Samsung managed to build it lighter anyway.

Galaxy S6 Edge features just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional GPU and a 64-bits processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a lot better screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little worse 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, it also counts with a higher screen density.

The Microsoft Surface Duo's storage for applications and games is very similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge one, both have equal internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Duo features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh. The Microsoft Surface Duo takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a much worse 11 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface Duo. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Microsoft Surface Duo, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
