Galaxy S6 Edge is better than the Moto G8 Power, getting a general score of 85.7 against 76. Even though the Galaxy S6 Edge is much older than Moto G8 Power, it's body is much thinner and notably lighter. These devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a quite superior processing power than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an additional graphics processor. Galaxy S6 Edge has a lot better display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better display density and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

The Moto G8 Power has a better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a back-facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels resolution, the Moto G8 Power also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power features more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G8 Power has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8 Power, giving up some specs and features.
